2010 ScanBi Diagnostics has moved to new facilities.
2008 ScanBi Diagnostics provides services to all continents. MAF accreditation (New Zealand) was achieved. The portfolio of analyses was expanded to include several food applications, e.g. gluten, aflatoxin and allergens.
2007 ScanBi Diagnostics was sold via a management buyout to the independent and privately owned Swedish holding company ScanCap. The portfolio of analyses was expanded to include several new analyses for the breeding and agro-biotech industry, e.g. pathogens, hybridity and zygosity.
2006 ScanBi Diagnostics established its consultancy service, including establishment of biotechnology laboratories (e.g. World Bank), quality assurance and traceability.
2005 ScanBi Diagnostics expanded its business to supply the food and feed industry with diagnostic services.
2004 ScanBi Diagnostics expanded its business to perform virus analyses for the fruit and berry industry.
2003 ScanBi Diagnostics extended its service to GMO analyses for the plant breeding and agro-biotechnology industry. Accreditation according to ISO standards was established.
2002 ScanBi Diagnostics was founded, with know-how from Scandinavian Biotechnology Research in diagnostics, transgenic plants, molecular biology, bioinformatics and plant breeding.
1999 Scandinavian Biotechnology Research was founded.
