What is GMO?
GMO is an abbreviation of Genetically Modified Organism(s). GMO is defined as organic material where the genetic material has been changed by means other than traditional breeding. The most common GM traits are resistance to weed killers and to pathogens. Examples of other GM traits incorporated into plants include resistance to viruses and enhanced oil production.
What is Quality Assurance (QA)?
Quality Assurance is a planned set of systematic actions necessary to achieve appropriate confidence that a product has been produced under controlled conditions.
What is Traceability?
Traceability is the ability to trace (identify and measure) all the stages that led to a particular point in a process that consists of a chain of interrelated events. It can be divided into flows of the physical product, relations and information.
